Years ago I ran a website called Critics Round Up, which was a database of film criticism, among other things. I also worked for MUBI for three years. Nowadays, I still watch art films but I'm also trying my damnedest to become fluent in Korean. Recent self-examinations of my strengths and weaknesses in Korean has given me a reason to feel hopeful that a breakthrough may happen if I keep at it. We'll see how that goes.
